WVCAN Annual Conference

April 4 - April 5

 

 

This year’s WVCAN Conference will focus on inspiring particpants to be the light on behalf of children in their communities. Presentations include emerging trends in child welfare, working with special populations, and investigations and prosecution strategies.  Child abuse professionals will have the opportunity for hands-on workshops including case review, medical review, mock trail, and others. You won’t want to miss!

wvCANclimb

wvCANclimb takes place at Kanawha State Forest with options for a wild hike, a mild hike, or a 5k-ish trail run. Proceeds benefit the CAMC Women and Children’s Hospital Children’s Advocacy Center, which is based in Charleston, and WVCAN. The 2017 wvCANclimb will be on Saturday, September 23. Mark your calendar! Registration will open early summer 2017.
