ABC Program Social Worker ⎯ Mountain CAP CAC
Mountain CAP of WV, Inc., a CDC, Child Advocacy Center’s ABC Program has one licensed social work position in Lewis County. This is a full-time, benefitted position that will work with school-aged children in in the home and in the classroom. This position requires the applicant to hold a minimum of a temporary SW license and the applicant must have experience in working with children and families. Part-Time Community Outreach and Data Coordinator ⎯ Monongalia County CAC
The Monongalia County Child Advocacy Center is seeking a Part-Time Community Outreach & Data Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about community engagement, enjoys building connections, and is detail-oriented when it comes to data and organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee community outreach programs that align with organizational goals. A special focus will be our Drug Endangered Children’s Program
- Manage volunteer recruitment, training, supervision, and recognition efforts to build a committed volunteer network
- Serve as a confident public speaker at community events, workshops, and informational sessions to promote programs and services
- Coordinate data collection activities, ensuring accurate tracking of assessments, and program outcomes
- Utilize social media platforms and marketing strategies to increase community awareness and participation
- Develop and distribute MCCAC’s monthly email newsletter
- Assist with legislative-related communication and advocacy efforts
- Maintain detailed records of outreach activities, volunteer participation, donor information, and data reports for evaluation purposes
- Assist with grant writing, tracking and reporting
- Assist with the planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences
- Bachelor’s Degree in public health, marketing, public relations, psychology, social work or similar fields
- Experience in fundraising or grant writing is a plus but not required
- Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting

The Child & Youth Advocacy Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Advocate to join our team. This role is essential in providing trauma-focused support and services to children and families impacted by traumatic events.
Position Overview
The Mental Health Advocate is responsible for delivering trauma-focused therapy services to children and their non-offending caregivers. This position plays a key role in supporting healing, stability, and access to care through a collaborative, team-based approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide trauma-focused therapeutic services to children and families
- Conduct clinical assessments and intake appointments
- Offer crisis intervention and trauma-informed treatment
- Deliver comprehensive case management services
- Coordinate care and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
- Assist with Family Advocacy services for clients receiving outside mental health support
- Provide referrals and service coordination to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Background in mental health, social work, counseling, or a related field
- Experience working with children and families, especially in trauma-informed settings, preferred

Forensic Interviewer ⎯ Child Protect of Mercer County, Inc.
JOB TITLE: CAC Forensic Interviewer
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, M-F, 9 am to 5 pm
Starting Pay Scale:
- Bachelor’s degree and less than 1-year experience: $36,000
- Bachelor’s degree and more than 1-year experience: $39,000
- Master’s degree and relevant experience: $42,000
Position specifics: non-exempt, salaried position entitled to all employee benefits (paid vacation and sick leave, paid holidays, health and vision insurance, retirement plan and employment incentives including wellness program)
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Forensic Interviewer provides forensic interview services to all agency clients who are child victims of abuse, neglect, violence or who are drug-endangered or are a witness to violence or a crime. The Forensic Interviewer interacts with professionals from other disciplines and agencies involved in investigations involving children and/or the provision of services to children and their families. The Forensic Interviewer acts as one of the agency’s liaisons to Mercer County’s Multidisciplinary Investigative Team (MDIT) and all other investigative, court and child protection professionals who interact with the agency. The Forensic Interviewer may also act as the agency’s liaison with other community partners when deemed necessary by the agency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule and conduct neutral, fact-finding, developmentally appropriate investigative interviews of child victims.
- Ensure recording of each forensic interview conducted at Child Protect.
- Maintain accurate and up to date records and paperwork on all forensic interviews conducted at Child Protect.
- Consult with MDIT members before and after interviews and coordinate case specific information sharing among the MDIT.
- Attend and testify in court proceedings as necessary.
- Obtain Forensic Interviewer certification and attend trainings as required by the agency.
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Follow agency policies and procedures.
- Ensure the maintenance of case tracking logs, client case notes and MDIT meeting notes.
- Ensure collaboration with other agencies to enhance service delivery to child victims.
- Attend all MDIT meetings and MDT meetings when requested.
- Ensure the entry and updating of case tracking data entry information.
- Attend additional community meetings as assigned by the Executive Director or the Direct Service Manager.
- Assist with the agency’s child abuse prevention education campaigns when necessary.
- Maintain statistical data for all services provided at Child Protect.
- Conduct public speaking engagements as assigned by the Executive Director or the Direct Service Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS, preferably in Human Services or Social Work. Experience in human services or social work is required. Experience in the child welfare system is highly preferred. The candidate cannot be listed on the child abuse registry, sex offender registry and must have no prior history of criminal behavior. The candidate must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. (A criminal background check and child abuse and sex offender registry checks will be conducted in accordance with the Volunteers for Children Act Public Law 105-251.)
