With over two decades of experience in the communications industry, Stacy Deel is our marketing guru. In 2015, she joined WVCAN as the Awareness & Development Specialist handling public awareness and fundraising, and ensuring all resources are consistent and compatible with our mission and vision. She was first promoted to Director of Operations & Communications and, most recently, Chief Operations Officer where she now oversees the operational and administrative functions of our daily business too. A West Virginia native, proud Mountaineer alum, and past president of the West Virginia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, Stacy represents us well and makes sure we consistently send positive, powerful messages to the communities we serve. She brings the fun to the work we do and reminds us to not take ourselves too seriously. Stacy is married to Doug and together they have one son, Mason, and a rambunctious hound dog named Nya.
